Great UGG alternative! March 19, 2010 Heather N. (New Jersey, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These are my second pair of Bearpaw boots (I also have the Laguna lug boots, highly recommended for cold weather). They are great quality boots, that look and feel at least as good as the overpriced UGGs. Plus! You can own 3 different pairs for the same price as one pair of uggs :-)
As for sizing, I am usually a size 7.5-8 and am happy with these in a size 7 (and an 8 in the leather version).
Contrary to other bearpaw reviews, I recommend buying at your size. They will mold to your feet after a few wears (if you buy them too big they will be floppy). These boots are almost better slightly smaller if you are between sizes. They stretch and will give more support if they are a bit smaller. With the leather versions, stick to your size or go up a half size if you are between, but a full size bigger is going to be really big once they stretch.
CUTE! February 26, 2010 Meg 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I ordered these boots and love them! They are very comfy and are really cute with leggings and jeans. They are shorter than they appear in the pictures (just above the ankle) but I'm short so it works for me! They are a bit on the small side, so I would order a 1/2 size larger than you usually would to be safe!
Pleasantly Surprised!!! Glad I passed on the UGGS!!! February 14, 2010 R. Alford (West York, PA, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Just because an item is expensive doesn't always mean that others are inferior. These are just a good if not better than uggs and 1/3 the price!!! Very well made and stylish. I am very pleased!!
Not as comfy as I thought January 8, 2010 C. Lavoie (MA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Easy on and off. Like the look and height of shaft. However, have noticed each time I have worn them that my shins and ankles are sore. Lends me to believe the support is just not there : (
Great for the money January 7, 2010 Randa 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Be sure to purchase a size larger than your usual. As long as it is this year's model/style, they are sized smaller. Great boot. Sweater/sole looks very much like my friend's uggs, but a fraction of the cost! The sherpa lining is only on the inside bottom and back, so these are not as warm as the ones with it thoroughout, so keep that in mind. Love them!!
